I was born and raised in Buffalo New York and attended Medaille College before graduating in 2012 as a PA from D’Youville College.  Since that time I have practiced in emergency medicine, hospital medicine and palliative care.  I am currently a full time faculty member at Canisius College PA Program serving as the course director for Diagnostic Medicine, Behavioral Medicine and Community Health in addition to co-teaching other classes. I am currently a DMSc Fellow at the University of Lynchburg PA education track and look forward to graduation in May of 2023.  In addition to my work as a PA and educator, I am a mom to my five year old son Lucas and an avid Buffalo Bills fan.  Excited to be a part of the team.  Go Bills!

Mallory Edwards, PA-C

Secretary

Mallory graduated from Cleveland State University/TRI-C in 2014 earning her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies and Health Sciences. She currently works in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at Buffalo General Hospital. She has previously worked in Internal Medicine as a hospitalist and held per diem positions in urgent care/emergency department care, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute Breast Surgery Clinic, and with a local independent contracting company. In addition to WNYPAA she is involved with WNY Women's Foundation. Her goal as the WNYPAA President is to gain membership in order to expand networking for local APPs, hold events that encourage consistent member participation to create leadership and volunteer opportunities. She will work with the NYSSPA district director for WNY to promote Optimal Team Practice (OTP) and push legislative agendas to continue to advance PA practice in NYS. She believes in a team based approach where providers are working at the top of their license in order to have efficient patient centered care. Promoting OTP and working with local physicians and hospital systems that support these legislative agendas will only benefit our practice, our community and our relationship with collaborating physicians.
