The incidence of skin cancer in solid organ transplant recipients is up to 200 times greater than that of age-matched controls, largely due to the required immunosuppressive medications. Yet many of these recipients are unaware of the risk and efforts to educate them have been sadly lacking. The appropriate management of pediatric skin disorders is also an important competency for clinicians.

This conference will include an opportunity for patient viewing, and discussions will include a variety of genodermatoses and other uncommon pediatric disorders. Evaluation and management of inflammatory disease will also be presented. Interesting histopathological cases will be reviewed following a pathology presentation on melanoma.
